TESTIMONIALS - Let’s hear from a few of our Artisans how the Tudor Artisan Hub has supported their Art journey since 2014.
Aislinn & Róisín Duggan, Owning, Co. Kilkenny
"We have been working with the Tudor Artisan hub for almost 10 years , It really was the
launch point for our artist career and what put our work out there. It has been our main
exhibition space and the greatest promoter of our work. The hub has been an invaluable
resource as artists giving us somewhere to show and sell our work , a way to get in contact
with other artists and customers.
The Tudor artisan hub is the artistic and cultural centre for the town and is responsible for
so many of the events, festivals and arts initiatives in Carrick-on-Suir that keep the arts alive.
It is gives the town colour and soul. The Hub is the main outlet for amateur and professional
artists in this region.
The hub is really does good work to promote upcoming and young artists to develop their
careers as it helped us.
The hub is a rare treasure in this part of the country and I have no doubt the careers of
many artists and makers including our own would not have succeeded or been sustainable
without it."
Ann Brennan, Ballingarry, Co. Tipperary
Being part of the Tudor Artisan Hub for the last 10 years has been a creative journey for me. It has served as a platform for showcasing and promoting my work to a broader audience. The hub has provided opportunities for growth and collaborations through shared exhibitions and projects with other like minded creatives. We get a chance to encourage and celebrate each others creative ideas and successes. It was in the Hub that I started running my art classes and Linda initiated this and at a later stage organised a larger venue to facilitate my classes from.
Linda is the vibrant heart of the Hub. She encourages us all to explore our creativity and reach our full potential. She offers guidance and advice to help in various ways such as marketing our work or exposure to a wider audience, through exhibitions, events and online platforms. She goes over and above to promote and sell our work. All dealings with Linda are straightforward and professional which makes it all so much easier. She has a way of bringing out the best creative side of us all and believes in what we are trying to achieve.
I wish to thank the customers who have purchased my work , I appreciate their loyalty over the years. Its humbling to hear the feedback from customers and what my art means to them and how it can move them. Their belief in my art has inspired me onwards.
I feel blessed to be involved in the Hub for the last decade and I hope it continues to flourish and provide the platform for creatives for another decade to come.

Being part of The Tudor Artisan Hub collective provides immense value and enrichment to individuals in a variety of ways. First and foremost, being part of this arts collective allows for a sense of community and belonging among like-minded individuals who share a passion for creativity and self-expression. This sense of camaraderie fosters collaboration, support, and inspiration, creating a nurturing environment for personal and artistic growth.
Being part of The Tudor Artisan Hub collective offers opportunities for networking, skill-sharing, and learning from others in the field which can lead to professional development, exposure to new techniques and perspectives. It provides a platform for showcasing and promoting one's work, reaching a broader audience, and gaining recognition within the creative community.
Overall, the value of  being part of The Tudor Artisan Hub collective lies in the connections made, the sense of community fostered, the opportunities for growth and development, and the platform for visibility and recognition within the arts world. It is a journey of creativity, collaboration, and support that can greatly enhance one's artistic endeavours and personal fulfilment.
Within the ecosystem of The Tudor Artisan Hub collective, artists are afforded a unique blend of community and collaboration, where exchanging ideas, techniques, and perspectives fosters an environment ripe for innovation. This collective intelligence can push members to explore beyond their boundaries, challenging them to experiment and evolve their work in ways they might not have considered in isolation. This collective spirit amplifies visibility and opportunities for its members. By pooling resources, artists can access larger or more prestigious platforms for showcasing their work, from exhibitions and performances to residencies and workshops. Additionally, being part of The Hub can enhance an artist's credibility and professional network, opening doors to collaborations, commissions, and projects that might be unattainable on one's own.
On a more personal level, the camaraderie and mutual support that I found in The Tudor Artisan Hub is invaluable, especially in a field often riddled with uncertainty and rejection. The emotional and motivational support from Linda Fahy, who understands the unique challenges of creative work can be a lifeline, fostering a sense of belonging amongst other local artists. This solidarity not only nurtures the individual artist's well-being but also contributes to a vibrant, supportive arts community that values collective success over individual achievement.
To sum it up, joining The Tudor Artisan Hub collective has offered me a multifaceted enrichment of my artistic practice, blending personal growth with professional development amidst the supportive community of Carrick-on-Suir and surrounding area. Thank you Linda for all your hard work and support over the last 10 years.

Margaret O’Brien, Writing Changes Lives, Carrick-on-Suir
Linda Fahy is founder and owner of the arts collective, The Tudor Artisan Hub, which is ostensibly a small, but busy, art and craft shop on Carrick-on-Suir’s Main Street. It has gallery rooms over two floors whose walls are filled with work by the very talented artists who live in the Suir Valley region and beyond.

In truth the Hub is much more than a shop, more than an arts collective. Linda operates it as a portal to many, many creative projects and experiments in all the creative arts. In her ten years in business, Linda has not only provided gallery space and a retail outlet for visual artists and artisans in almost all of the craft disciplines, but she has also spearheaded many innovative creative collaborations and projects in the community that have crossed all creative boundaries. There are far too many to list here, but it is important to mention the innovative collaborative creative projects she initiated and directed during the pandemic years, which were brought to fruition despite lockdown restrictions and the many barriers that resulted in isolation and fear. Through Linda’s direction the creative arts brought purpose, connection and beauty during a very fraught time.
My congratulations to Linda and her brainchild, The Tudor Artisan Hub, on reaching this significant milestone, this 10th anniversary.
Bettina Norton, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny
"I have been a member of The Hub Collective now for several years and Linda and the team are an inspiration and invaluable part of my creative circle. Carrick on Suir is a inclusive and diverse community who are hugely supportive of the creative arts and I am honoured to be part of such a team. It has helped me to grow as an artist and small business these past few years and I am so grateful to have this initiative in my life."
Alice Hislop, Ardfinnan, Co. Tipperary
"Being apart of the Tudor Artisan Hub has been an amazing experience. I have been able to show and sell my work for the first time and make some valuable connections I would not have been able to make otherwise. Thank you to every person who has shown my work so much love. It means the world to me. "
Geraldine Gleeson, Fethard, Co. Tipperary
In October 2023, I was introduced by Noreen Duggan-photographer to Linda and “The Hub”. Up to this my glass was mainly a home-based hobby with the occasional craft fair. Linda has been a wonderful mentor; I really enjoy having someone else to bounce my ideas off. Even if sometimes that takes me outside my comfort zone. Being able to trial products in “The Hub” has been extremely helpful. I love working with glass and it is amazing when other people like what I make. I would like to thank all “The Hub” patrons who have supported me and I hope they continue to enjoy my work.

Thank you for having us Linda" - Fiona

"The Hub and I...
It's been 8 years since I joined the Hub and my only regret is those first 2 years I missed out on! I'd love to have said I was the full decade and the full schilling too! Most artists are just a few 'pennies short of a full purse' as I do feel our heads are up in the clouds looking at the sky wondering is that cerulean blue or cobalt? We need and depend on people like Linda Fahy at the wonderful Tudor Artisan Hub to not only keep us grounded but to promote, market and sell our work so that we can keep working. The life of an artist is not an easy one but it's beautiful, it's honest and it's the only life I can imagine now.  It's also a solitary existence and without the encouragement and support of Linda and the Hub, I would just be a woman alone in a studio painting away. But with her help I have become the creative activist I've always wanted to be. I'm out from behind the easel and in the community getting involved in wonderful projects as part of the Hub. I feel involved, relevant and appreciated and it's down to being part of this arts collective I think of as family.
Everything else I've done in life was preparation for this wonderful life I'm living now..."Mia

Inky Frog, Kilcash & Midleton
"The Tudor Hub has been an invaluable part of the Inky Frog journey. Being welcomed into the Artists' Collective and getting feedback and support from Linda has been tremendous. The Hub is the first location we stocked our prints and cards in and it remains our most lucrative, and that is down to Linda's tireless championing of the Hub's artists and makers, both in store and across social media. It speaks volumes that the Hub enjoys such a loyal and engaged customer base. Thank you Linda, and huge thanks to everyone who has invested in a piece of Inky Frog art." – Jenny

Lizanne Crafts, Carrick-on-Suir
"What can I say about the Tudor Artisan Hub? First it's a great place to visit and see all the amazing art works, and secondly, I helped add to the artworks with my polymer clay creations, in 2019, having lived in Carrick for 18 years. Joining the hub creatives has given me a feeling of being a part of the community, thanks to Linda.
She gives me confidence in my art pieces and she is a great platform for showcasing and promoting my work to a broader audiences…I'd love to thank the Customers that have supported me, without you all and of course Linda I probably wouldn't be in my art room doing the thing I love............creating!" Liz

Stephen Power, Lisadobber, Co. Tipperary
"What the hub means to me...It's like a family, it's a place I have grown in confidence not just in my art work but within my personality. You will always find a helping hand, whether that's Linda or a fellow artist.
Being part of the initiative has opened doors for me I would have never thought possible.
It's helped me fight for change in different aspects that have affected me and given me the drive I needed to pursue personal goals.
The last 8 years have been one of the best chapters in my life, I have had many highs, having children, getting married and building my studio and having Linda and the hub are up there on the list.
Thanks to all the customers for your love and support and amazing feedback over the years.
The biggest thanks of all to Linda for all her amazing work." - Stephen
Rosslynart, Stradbally, Co. Waterford
"I feel so lucky to be part of the Hub family and the timing could not have been better for joining this thriving, supportive and welcoming collective of local creatives. I joined the Hub in October 2019….less than 6 months before the pandemic that changed the world and how we were able to interact with each other! Community and the arts became such a comfort at that awful time… the firebrand that is Linda kept the show on the road with online order, radio plays and the amazing Legacy project for local people lost during Covid.
Linda continually works tirelessly to promote the arts in all its forms and to bring the local community.  The customers and locals in Carrick on Suir have also been very welcoming and engaging with my art and a huge thank you to all of those who have admired, bought or commissioned any of my creations….I always say I put a little piece of my heart and soul into every painting I do, so much of that now belongs across the southeast and beyond in homes of the customers of the Hub! The Tudor Artisan Hub fills a unique role in the life of Carrick on Suir and the wider southeast - it is like an Aladdin’s cave of treasures, and adds something very special to the town. It’s an honour and a privilege to be a part of it."  - Catriona
Seoda Treasures, Carrick-on-Suir
"Seoda Treasures has been part of The Tudor Artisan Hub collective since March 2017, I initially made a few items of jewellery from Sea Glass and Sea Shells foraged from the local beaches of Co. Waterford and slowly evolved over the last 7 years to a much wider range of product offerings which are on offer today in the Hub. Linda has been instrumental in the evolution of Seoda Treasures encouraging me to introduce new products, being supportive and offering suggestions and helped me develop the range of products into to the collection it has become today.

The Hub has given me a Sales Platform where I can showcase my Product Range, a place where people can go and physically see the product if they wish. I have also had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the other artists who display in the hub and have gained helpful tips from them, from framing queries to best adhesives, to market trends and have developed some great friendships from our meetings in The Hub. Thanks you Linda for creating and overseeing such a great worthwhile collective of amazing talented people and allowing them to showcase their unique artistic creations!" - Michelle Power
